INFRARED T-3 ​QUARTZ LAMPS & RUBY RED SLEEVES

Type T3 lamps utilize a low mass tungsten filament to provide a high temperature source that responds rapidly to voltage changes, thereby allowing precise control in steady-state or dynamic situations.

​Lamps are hermetically sealed and filled with an inert gas. The temperature of a T3 lamp operating at full voltage is approximately 4000ºF making its peak energy wavelength 1.15 microns.

​These lamps are available in several standard lengths with a wattage rating of 100 watts per linear inch.

This information is used to ensure accuracy when ordering replacement elements for your infrared oven system or equipment. 

FOSTORIA GLARE-REDUCING RUBY RED SLEEVES

Optional Ruby Red Vycor Sleeves are available for all quartz lamps. Sleeves easily slide over the lamp to filter out over 90% of the visible light (the lamps will glow red), yet allow over 90% of the infrared energy to pass through and effectively heat the intended area.
